I don't think he is kiasu. Since Pallister and Bruce, we have not had a good pair of central defenders. Buying Vidic will probably booster the central defence when he partners Ferdinand. With Heinze on long term injury, the left is still shaky with no one being able to claim a permanent spot there. This will free Silvestre whom I feel is the ideal person, in the absence of Heinze, to fill the slot given his track record in this position where his overlapping run had resulted in a number of goals scored in the box. Wes Brown is inconsistent and should be sold. Buying another defender would be a good option especially on the right where, other than Neville, no one is capable of claiming the spot. This was proven when Neville was out with injury. It's better to have dept so that we can have enough cover should any of them gets injured.

Now all EPL fans are ABC. Anything But Chelsea. Can't wait for them to lose and drop points.

By the look of it chances of them dropping points is slim even they play badly but they still win...juz like the man u of 99 season.

Hope they will drop pts soon!

Sir Alex Ferguson has made Nemanja Vidic the first major signing of the Malcolm Glazer era by splashing out £7million on the Serbia defender.

Looking forward to see him play against Man City ...

hmmm ... now i've another team to support during this year World Cup already ... hehe

    Another defender coming??????

5m Evra Ready For United Move
United are closing in on the signing of Monaco's £5m-rated defender Patrice Evra. United chief executive David Gill has held talks with Monaco about Evra. Fergie wants him to fill in at left-back in place of the injured Gabriel Heinze, who is out for the rest of the season. Evra's agent, Frederico Pastorello, said: "We spoke at length with the club and they are not opposed to Patrice leaving. If the right offer is made, the transfer to United will take place."
    David McDonnell, Daily Mirror

btw, Vidic will be wearing Jersey no. 15 ~!!

Speaking of no. 15, does anyone knows where is Jesper Blomqvist, the left winger?
