if you are in singapore, you can try cathay photo at peninsular. or go to crumper's retail shops, there is one at wheelock place and another at paragon. unless the design is real old, else you can find it there.

Yeah.. Ya can try 'KT' @ Shaw Tower. It's @ 2nd floor. They sells photography equipments. The price should be slightly cheaper then the crumpler boutque (I'm in no associates to the shop But happen to buy stuff there b4). You can go to the boutque to browse, but usually the price is much expansive there...

If you are a member of applecentre@orchard, you can get 10% off the retail price at the wheelock and paragon outlet.

One look at the Lowepro, and it screams "CAMERA BAG", however the Crumpler looks like any of the other Crumpler bags. However found that the Lowepro bags may have better features, also opening the Crumpler quietly is impossible, got HUGE velcro patch on main flap. (I have a 5 million dollar for my KM5D) In terms of build quality, both pretty solidly built, just comes done to personal preference.

The velcro is a double edged sword of sorts. If ur working in a quite environment, its a nuisance. Otherwise, its a built in theft alarm, unless the thief can cut off the whole flap w/o u knowing! Used it on my recent trip. Juz flip the flap down and it closes instantly by velcro.

Got 2nd hand fr CS Marketplace.

TK Foto Technic, at Shaw has quite a good range of Crumpler bags. I bought my 6 Mill there. I prefer Crumpler because it does not look like camera bag. I travel often to 3rd world nation, just want to be safe.

I personally feel that the million $ series looks like camera bags, maybe because of the boxy squarish design and the handle on top. The messenger bag series like budgie smuggler, 15 love or company embarassment looks less like camera bag.

My company embarassment keeps slipping of my shoulder and tips over when I don't have it cross slung. After lugging it around in Kong Kong and Korea, I find that the velcros are quite annoying, heads will turn when the velcro's lifted

I didnt x-sling my company embarassment thru'out my recent overseas trip; whole 7dys and no problems of it toppling over. Juz missed the carrying handle on my other bags. I sort of liked the velcro as I didnt hv to worry about buckles and zips. Juz flip the flap over and its secured. Like I said: uv got a built-in alarm there.
