Interesting......
A company for part time photographers. Think this may be the first step to consolidate CSers and eliminate the problem of "free" photographers
Details? Like whats your concept plan, cost, operation mode? Looking to have a gathering to rope in interested parties?

yeah, why not...start a company of sorts or a union of part-time/freelance photographers...set standards of payment, codes of conduct, rules of employment...so that no one spoil market or get exploited...

also a onestop shop for the potential client, a guarantee of service to them...

Well apparently this is how it works. I passed, but some of you may be interested.

Him: hi. u will be paid by per package . or by hour . depends on the prices i get from my customers




Me: Any rough estimate?



The deal: mm..per hour at least $10 . but better if paid by package .. last then 3 hours u may get 40 to 50 . do u , mind to let me see your port folio . thanks

Why would it be fishy? $10 an hour is not really a lot to pay, depending on the assignment. The efforts to filter out applications would be tremendous, and I wish the threadstarter good luck in finding value-for-money "subcontractors". I hope he does filter out the applications for the sake of the image of the professional photographic scene in Singapore.
