the first thing i noticed was the white area
when looking through your viewfinder
you must also pay attn to the background

also using a reflector to bounce some light into the bottom of the bell will bring out the shadow details.

by the way, you need to work on your composition as well

do a google for bell images and look at the better ones

This one has no meaning to me. Composition is not powerful at all. And as Ortega mentioned, the white highlight really distracts your viewers. Photography is not "take, take, take" if you think it is. It is rather, one that involves some brains with perhaps, creative and some technical juice. Picture composition comes naturally for me though experience.

Actually, not too bad. The idea is there. Just need some work on the composition and exposure.
