This thread is a classic example of Singaporeans exaggerating everything.
    Have you been to JB?
The crime rate there is even higher than KL.
One can walk the streets of SG at 2am, and you don't need to send a posse out for your daughter, but try that in JB or KL.
    Over dramatic bro..

Or perhaps one should spend some time in a country with no lifts and the only way to go up and down is with your own legs..

Sure, a lift that doesn't work as it should must be fixed, but let's keep things in perspective.

How i wish you were the one caught in the freaking up-down lift and scaring the shxx out of you. LOL
Then perhaps you would say differently.

Internally Singapore is as dangerous as JB because of the floating spirits, long-haired ghosts, unseen beings etc. that dwell in the lifts. It's time we engage the Taoist masters to seriously cleanse the place and reclaim safety back into our lifts.

Externally JB is more dangerous than Singapore because there are more gangsters, thugs, thieves, rapists, corrupted policemen etc there than ghosts. In fact JB ghosts are kinder than the criminals if you ever meet one there.

The fact is that you can only be safe if you are vigilant and be constantly aware of your surrounding.

Many people are addicted to their phone and never bother to look at the road or their surrounding. They are prone to accident and easy prey to criminals.

looking at his past posts in Kopitiam, TS has a rather dim and negative view of the world around him.
There are just as many, if not more, happy events that we can share.

Can you imagine the thread that will be started if some drone hits somebody by accident?

People died taking lift? People hit and killed by train? I really cannot imagine what is going to happen next. It could be something much worse than being robbed in JB

Go back to sleep my friend, for you can do that in SG in peace.
Many more things worse out there.
You have already succeeded in eliciting a response from quite a few people.

Travel more, and see more, then be grateful for what you have.

"Spinal fractures occur when the bones in your spine, called vertebrae, break and collapse. They can happen due to trauma or injury, such as experiencing a bad fall or car accident. Or, spinal fractures may be caused by simple movements like coughing or sneezing if your vertebrae have become weak and brittle from osteoporosis or cancer. Every year more than a million people suffer from this kind of spinal fracture; vertebral compression fractures are the most common type."
