Hi people,
I'm currently using Epson R210. My prints kept appearing much darker than what I see on my LCD screen. I really don't understand what's the problem. My LCD monitor is calibrated using Gretag Macbeth. I've installed the relevant ICC profiles for the paper that I'm using. I Let Photoshop Determine the Colors, I also checked the No Color Adjustment. Anyone has experienced this before??? |

that is because wad u see on the lcd monitor is a projected image,ur eyes see the printed images as a reflective, which means light falls onto to print and then read by ur eyes.
the luminance of a projected image is similar to viewing a slide on a lightbox,it will always be brighter than the print. try to adjust the levels or curves of the image brighter on the screen to compensate for it. |

Hai I thought that hardware calibration will also take care of the brightness level but now I know that the calibrator only take care of the accuracy of the colors and I still have to factor in the fact that the LCD screen is transmissive thus will appear brighter than the image on print.... |
