OT a bit.
Actually I need a tele lens n if can, a cheap one. But in the end, the lens which I borrow from flare was sleeping inside my dry cabinet. Think what I need is time, haha!

For general photo shooting, 75-300 will not be the lens. To use more of these lens, go to ZOO and Bird Park. To feel the 75-300 reach is not enough go bird shooting in the open.

The guys at Avian Watch told me that "whatever lens you get, you will always find you are 100mm short". So don't worry, make do with what you have in hand and learn to get closer.
75-300 may not get you pics of distant sparrows to fill the frame but you sure can get nice shots of birds not too afraid of humans e.g. seagulls, mallards, Canada geese, mute swans etc.

Just bought the 75-300mm lens! Must say the focussing is not very good at 300mm at low light conditions..actually normal room lighting..My 5D hunts alot, and in the end never achieves a focus. But nevertheless, i can't wait to bring it out and have a shoot around!
