SIGMA APO EX tele converteres can work with 80-200mm APO G?
found one at KEH, my US fren can bring back for me... just wondering since 80-200 compatibility is questionable. I only know from this forum that the tamron and the kenko pro work... thanks! |

You cant... I have both the siggy 1.4 & 2.0 TC....bith the glass is flush with mount. Therefore, whn lens inserted...it will clash.... rgds, sulhan |

ya i think the non-zoom minolta lenses are 100% compatible... its only the 80-200 APO g that gives trouble...

thanks drukh & captnj, for the info.
even with digital crop of 1.5, i think 300mm still not long enough for birding. but KM make teleconverters are quite ex! |

HIee....
I nearly invested on it...and realised that its gonna be not that great diff from the sigma one.....that would justify the delta in cost.......tooo $$$$$ Hence still stick to my sigma 1.4 & 2.0.....usually 1.4....2.0...less used... rgds, sulhan |

Sulhan,
do you happen to come across any websites or forums that did a comparison between the sigma, teleplus pro & minolta's TC? |

But for other brands like Canon and nikon...they do have comparison and the Sigma and kenko pro are the better ones... rgds. sulhan |
