Default Minolta 100-300/4.5-5.6 APO (D)

Hi, I am planning to get this as my tele lens. Any comment on this and how much is this roughly for a new one and a secondhand one?

Thanks for your advise

So ex for a 100-300??? Seem like 75-300 cheaper, right?

Aiming Sigma 135-400 F4.5-F5.6 or learn DCA, buy the 50-500mm. My place got a lot of wonderful birds, esp during the morning and also, I am those early bird ppl, haha!

The 75-300mm is a little more versatile I guess... the shorter end is pretty good for street and travel shots... I tend to find 100mm a little too long for my liking hence my 100-400 is really used only when I need a very long lens...

Dont bother to get the sigma 135-400mm or 150-500mm damm slow..will faint.

Go for the 50-500mm but i still perfer the tamron 200-500mm great lens.

Ho yap, the 75-300mm will do fine.. a little longer then the brother version 100-300mm but can save a lot of money over it.

You see wrong la. I did mention 50-500 n also, no 150-500 from Sigma. Only 170-500mm from Sigma I love bird photos, need to invest on a tele lens. Maybe a fix 500mm also can.

Haha! Think Sigma 500mm is WAY OUT! 4199 USD, where to get those $? If kenna Toto, would be KM 600mm liao, haha!
