    Default 2pc infeon 256mb ddr333 ram for $50. Trustworthy?

    Advice!
spotted on yahoo classifieds this person selling
infeon(can't rem spelling) ram as above.
the brand is quite well known in states i think.
but he bought it in bulk oem and selling it
so only his personal 1 mth 1:1 warranty
but there isn't even a protective box for the ram.
    erm
the last bit is abit worrying.
    hence asking for advice.
shld i commit to this purchase?
cos its really cheap and value for money for my computer upgrade

    well that's true..
but its an aging computer so .. not really worth it to spend too much on it..
heh the savings can be transferred to mroe upgrades like graphics card..
i dun even mind 2nd hand RAM but strangely 2nd hand ram prices close to new prices..
and new prices match DDR2 type RAM??!?
so.. feeling unjustified. to spend the money lor
but this guy seems reluctant to meet at central location lol
he still hasn't called me to choose a meeting place.. so still open for suggestions or counter offers!
he said he's offering NEW OEM ram.. the dubious part is that it doesn't even have a box.. hmmm
i mean.. did he get it off straight from a factory? lol
dunno to trust him or not..

Why not if the savings and convenience suit you. Bulk stuff are not boxed. At the end of the day it is only $50 and even come with 1 mth warranty. The only worry is that you comp can take these ram. Just be sure esp if you have a branded computer and not diy one. It may be your problem at the end of the day if the ram works but not on your machine.
