    Firm or not nego should be pretty clear, and not enough people actually use such terms.
    Really depends on item ... threshold is hard to define.
    My preference to label item at fixed price and not to mark up items and then waste time doing Nego.

    many many times we have all seen when a seller states that the price if firm(with capital letters and exclamation marks)
    after a few days or weeks, the seller himself lowered the price (probably he realizes that either the price is too high or "tak laku")
    so the word FIRM!! was compromised by the seller himself.exploited and abused, this word has lost it's meaning.
    comments anyone?...

    Please remember there are several meanings of the word "firm". .

    The highballer may mean "having a solid, almost unyielding surface or structure."
