Question question on dry cabinet

just wanted to know what the Green and Red LED represents in the AD series dry cabinets from Digi-Cabi. anyone can enlighten?

Red LED is just the power indicator. Brightness of the Green LED shows how intensely the de-humidier unit is working.

Basically, there isn't much that you can infer from it as long as the lights are on. Just keep watch on the hygrometer.

Suggest you buy at least the model with a digital hygrometer... that way, can adjust until you reach the exact % you want.

hi thanks for the advice. i actually just bought the AD series with digital display, but not digital control.... so i'm like adjusting the knob every few hrs to unti i get the right humidity level.. yes, it's a chore...

You shoudn't be needing to do that. Just let it stabilize first, then toss your stuff in and let it stablize after a day or two and fine tune when necessary. Once u got it dialed in, its rather stable even when u add additional stuff.

that's what i've been doing actally, cept that i keep forgeting which direction to turn to have a lower %.....
