With smartphones, you still take photos.

But when clubsnap cease to exist, photography will be changed significantly.
It will not be as fun, as irreverent, as irrelevant, ......

It's already changed. Almost half of it is not in good way.
    A good photo's 45% you, 45% practice & 10% equipment. A bad photo share the same ratio.

This is not driven by photography. This is driven by biology.

Just one of the bad that came from the change. Digital capture is too accessible and easy to acquire. If there ever was a time where a saying like " Stealing a bit of your soul" This is it. The adult industry is struggling as everyone now can do their own, make their own library and photograph you stealthy even for their own personal enjoyment. Or shared.

The technicality of capturing? Every new step in technology will change something how an image is captured, edited, displayed ...
The art of making an image? Nothing much. Unless someone redefines the basics of image composition, story telling etc.

When people lose interest because everyone takes zillion of photos and just as liberally spews these out sharing AND no one gives a dam about some one else picture only wanting other to praise theirs. Its like how easy access to porn is actually killing the industry because its inherently limited in the forms it can take.... get over exposed it tales some more to titilate, How many variations in the same theme can it take before the reaction is "boring, see this so many times yawn - chanel flick"

    no lah.
it was meant to be a joke. dunno why someone took it so seriously.
it already stated that post here can be irreverent/irrelevant right?
maybe has poked into his wound.

Bullying is also very common nowadays. In schools and esp in internet forums where those thought they are senior members can anyhow ban people that are not to their liking. Pity
