I am a beginner and playing with the apeture to get the depth of field. Took this phot at Botanic Garden this morning. Is the lily flower at the background too distracting? Thanks for viewing and comment will be much appreciated.

Yup...very! BTW, do u know that the white flower that u photographed belongs to the family of sword plants?

if u only shifted ur angle so that the bkgd lily not overlapped with ur subject, then it is a good pic. not nec great, but certainly better.

Thanks for the comments & tips. BTW, I did not know the plant in focus belongs to the family of Sword Plant.
