"Huo Shen" aka Fire God...

Fire God

took this photo using D70 w 50mm 1.8D, wide open with no flash...does the soft touch for the 2nd photo works? tried using rear syn flash but not nice...comments?

this is a post-funeral ceremony, where this guy is supposedly clearing the gates of hell (symbolised by the fire i think) for the dead to pass from the mortal world to hell...

dont like the blurred 2nd pic at all. the OOF dont add anything to the pic, not as if he is flying or what ...
