Default 10bar for G2: Adding more frition to knob

My housing, for G2, was bought off a forumer here. He added a non-slip pad on the main switch so as to make turning the knob easier (where the camera power on and programme mode)

The non-slip adhesive was sticky thus i removed the doublesided tape and the non-slip material. I realise.. with nothing on.. it can't grip the knob/switch at all.

What do you guys do to tackle the probem,?

Also, does it mean by default it is already a problem, or was there something to be there supposedly?

the key is to get the functions working again..... so do the same thing, stick the non-slip pad on it again.....

doesn't matter what is supposed to be there so long as it works....my brand new housign also doesn't align properly. There is nothing a minor modification cannot do.
