I think most will probably just skip 2 or 3 pages, and won't have to read about the vegetarian, the camisoles or the teddies.

    Q.E.D.

but recall that I am an opportunistic brute, hence I am trying to SEEM to be defending the honour of the lovely ladies, in the hope that they will fall madly into my arms (again, with the caveat that they should not share physical similarities with whales).

au contraire, the camisoles and the teddies may prove to be the welcome oases in this endless desert of philosophical and religious discussion.

I think by tomorrow morning we'd reach ˝-star heehee.
Frankly, I'm more envious of people who are like you. At least there's still this hope of miracle turning up or salvation at the end of the road.

For me, the choice of atheism bounded myself with the chore of seeking meanings for all my actions all the time. There's simply no difference in deed and heart in my believe. And if one act against what they set out to do, they're simply just being an outright hypocrite, that's all.

Some japanese scientist got hold of some specimen of whale meat in the market, went back to lab to do sequencing, and come out with a phylogenetic tree, and thereby determining that it's a new species lor. It's rather interesting that something so low in impact could actually be published in Nature lah.

so if a robber intends to rob a bank, he is already guilty of robbing one?

If the robber have the intention to rob the bank, he is guilty in terms of breaking the moral rules. Unfortunately, there ain't moral police in this world. There's just a lot of a-moral ones, who follow legislature that's supposed to be based on one inflexible set of moral beliefs.

I didn't say you get A++ hor specifically I do not believe in "salvation" (in the context of my poor religious understanding) and what you might call "miracle" I would term "unexplanable (yet)"

here's a recap for your benefit.

"she", despite looking suspiciously like a whale, is determined that "her" gentle lover, uncle choy, never leaves the roomy confines of her cavernous mouth.

Err... I'm really quite dumb at this kind of specific stuff one. In fact, most of the time, my students could point out to me little things that they'd read in the notes that I didn't even bothered to read...

I like the forest, not the tree.

aiyah in my photo archive of 400 species of freshwater fishes, easily 10-20 of them are "to be new species", i.e. they have not yet been described.

surprising to the layman perhaps, but taxonomists are actually still pondering exactly what a "species" is, and when you should call a species another species.
