There's been lightning flashing across the sky in central part of Singapore for the past 2 hours or so. Anyone shooting?
If yes, kindly share the photos here. If I got time, I will post mine. |

Oops!! Just read the description of the sub-forums. I think this is more suited for the "
Land/City-scapes and Travel" sub-forum instead of "World of Nature". Mods: Can help move this thread? Apologies for the inconvenience. |

Capturing the lightning is evidently thrilling, but without a good foreground or theme, is not so good. Anyway, great capture as there are risk involved
BTW, care to share ur settings? I looked into ur exif but there's none? Are you using a digicam? Cheers.. |

Settings? Just checked the pictures, the EXIF info is still there leh.... Anyway, here goes: - Mode: manual, on a tripod - ISO: 200 - Shutter: 15 seconds - Aperture: varies between 5 to 6.3 (but when there is lots of lightning, it gets really bright in the picture) p/s - I got too busy posting the pictures, I left my camera at the window. Then when I checked it, there were some tiny raindrops on my filter . Faster keep it in dry cabinet first . |

Precisely, I'm talking about the rain. I'm not so concerned about lightning though, feel that striking toto 1st price is easier
About a week ago, I tried too. But the rain drops smeared my lens. I decided not to risk it and I gave up Dry thunderstorm is the best. Looks like you got one just now. Well done! |
