Was trying out my recently acquired D70s Kit

i thought yr quote says it all

I'd go for a full-head-on-straight shot, zoom in a little more to capture more details on those brake lines (from the pads) on the rotors & less of those distracting black areas & tire will not confuse yr 'brake' pic.

PS work perform on it ..
Level + Curves adjustment
Desaturate the photo slightly
USM
Gradient overlay with colour blending mode .. opacity set as required
