    1. LCD or CRT monitor(some prefer CRT for PS, some prefer LCD cos good for ur eyes).
    2. Monitor size. Typical 17-19"LCD or 19-21'CRT is good enough.
    3. HDD size.
    4. AMD or Intel. (some are Diehard AMD fans, just like Canon & Nikon. Each has their own good)

#1 to 3 are long term investment. Can keep for very long.

Only Motherboard, CPU & RAM need to upgrade every 1-2 yr.
    Thanks for the advices.

will still go for LCD, save space.. bigger is better, sick of viewing from a small monitor.

will be getting a hardware price list from Sim Lim and study.

I 2nd that, smaller LCD with all the tools and the bigger and better quality LCD with just the image. That is how all the pro DI people do it.

If you want a small LCD let me know, price is not 1 coffee.

2x 17" more ex than 1x 19" but surface area of 2x17 is more than 1x19...

4x 15" is approx 1x 30" (stack up a square) but the price of 4x 15 is cheaper than 1x30, do your maths...
