Hi everyone,

Sony has released a do everything discman sized CDRW / DVD / MP3 portable player with a built-in Memory Stick reader.

Sounds really good for the digital photographer. For more info, have a look at :

Has anyone seen this in Singapore ?

Erm, this was released @ Sony Dream World (correct?), where they show their latest products.

So it's gonna come out, but it will not be out so soon.... i think.

The Sony press release says that it will be released in November to be priced at less than US$300. Singapore is usually very fast in getting her hands on new electronics gadgets right ? I hope it's available in the next week or so, going to be there next week !

I don't think it will be out that soon..
Frankly, Singapore is kinda slow in releasing new gadgets.
Normally, we are slower than Japan by 1/2 a year or so....

Why must they practise dumping on Singapore?
When they release a new product in Singapore, that particular product is going to be discontinued in Japan....

Just bumping this thread I started 6 months ago (it's been 6 months already ??). Have you guys seen this in shops in Singapore ? How much is the street price ?

I saw it at one of the Funan shops at around $700+ or $800+ if my memory does not fail me.
It was about coming to 2mths back.
Cannot remember the shop name oso.

I saw one at PK at Suntec...
but price is pay-everything too... and bulky to boot
