    Default Does putting radio at kitchen damage it ?

    helo, is physics or chemistry involve ar?
    My mother so far has put 2 radios at the kitchen for listening while cooking. She uses it to listen to FM only. 1st radio spoil after 2 mths then bought a new one. Another 1 also cannot last. the problem for those 2 radios are they cant receive any FMs from any of the radio stations after sometime. the radio is a distance away from the oven of course. Oh yeah, radio not totally spoil cause casettes can still be played
    Wat causes radiowave not to be transmitted ar? im puzzled

    radio receive radiowave lah, not transmit.

    perhaps you should check if your microwave is leaking.

    No leh, we dun use microwave .
    anything to do with the heat when cooking? dun tink so rite ?

    yah the only thing in a kitchen I imagine can kill electronics would be leaking RF. since your motor still works.

    i've got a kitchen laydio that works for > 10 years and still going strong, no signs of going kaputt with all that greasy grime on the knobs

    I've got one of those Sony alarm/radio in the kitchen for the past 2 years. Still working well.
