    as above.. and what would be the best size to post online?

    From the main menu of Photoshop, click IMAGE. Choose IMAGE SIZE from the sub menu and then enter the size you want. 600x400 pixel picture might do well for online posting.

    how come after doing that the file size still so big?? 625k wor

    hahaa once i know how to resize my photos!!
    but alot on cny and i dont think my relatives would like to see themselves online

    u need to save the image as jpg with compression level of 6 to 7 .... that will bring down the size ..

    Do a file save as, JPEG, then key in a level of 4-5.
