Default Question for all ACER notebook owners.

    Hello everyone,

This question is aimed to all ACER Notebook owners.

Q: Have anyone of you noticed that one cannot type 'OK' on the ACER notebook keyboard by this sequence: (Sequence 1)
    1. Press 'O' key.
    2. While the finger pressure is still on the 'O' key, press the 'K' key.
When using the sequence above the 'K' will not appear on the screen.

To type 'OK', one will need to: (Sequence 2)
    1. Press 'O' key.
    2. Release the pressure on the 'O' key, then press the 'K' key.

I have tried this on many ACER notebooks (those on display in the shops), so far I noticed that all of them are like that. But other alphabet combination can be performed as per sequence 1.

    Wonder why this is so?

    TIA.

itchy, did you lift the pressure off the 'O' key before pressing the 'K' key? How old is your notebook?

Ya, it is my habit of keying in the 'K' key with my right index finger while my right middle finger is still on the 'O' key. I then release both fingers. Hence, I always get 'O' instead of 'OK.'
My other PC keyboards, ie. ACER desktop (home) and HP desktop (office) are fine for Sequence 1.
