wat is cashier order?
is it something like a cheque? can I convert cashier order to cash?

Its something like money order but i don't know what the diff is. It's like a cheque but will definitely not bounce because u have to pay for it on the spot when u get the cashier's order

If I'm not mistaken, a cashier's order is the same as a bank draft. Basically it is a check that is issued by a bank after you've paid the bank, and the recipient can cash it like any other check.

i think money ordeer is a postal order, ie postal service acts like bank, you pay them money to get a "cheque" which is used to send to others to cash in. I think cashier's order is diff in that it's affliated to some bank and not postal service? not sure!

bank draft, money order, cashier's order is actually the same thing.
if the cashier's order is issued to you with your full name (as in your IC & bank acccount) then you can bank it into your bank.
only make sure the cashier order if comes from overseas is already converted to S$. otherwise it can be "ma-fan"
