Default At my door step...

I am suppose to be studying at this moment of time, but hearing the birds chipping outside my room, I can't help it but to shoot them down!

I just know it.

Nay, I was from NTU too. Are you from Hall 10 or in those hostels along that stretch of 199 route towards NIE?

Anyway, I remember seeing a group of those birds (in your photos) around NTU North Spine and around the thick vegetation opposite Hall 11, 14 and 15.

Any plans to get a Zoom Lens or Micro Lens?

Ya. I stay in Hall 10 and those tall tall trees are just infront of my room! The flock of birds fly around NTU, I have seen them at Canteen 2 too. Btw, any one can identify the bird? Seems like a parrot to me.

Those are male red-breasted parakeets (Psittacula alexandri fasciata), otherwise known as moustached parakeet or rose-breasted parakeet. Introduced species that has established itself throughout Singapore.

Thanks. I didn't ps the background, just a lucky shot pointing towards the clear white sky, seems overexposed but I curved abit. The picture was abit OOF I suppose.

I have never seen these birds around urban areas, and even thought those were parrots at first sight.
