The craziest setup I've seen was an old man with 2 x EOS300D on a custom mount with the same lens (I think its 50mm). Maybe he was trying to shoot 3D images.

2nd was an old man with one flash mount on top and a wired slave flash on a bracket mounted below the camera! Maybe he does not like shadows...

Hmm... That's weird. Below the camera?

Izzit really possible to kill shadows with this technique? I'm really keen to find out.

    1Ds with 120-300/2.8 in a church?

That's a VERY long lens to use indoors... especially for a wedding ceremony.

That's a tad too long. But on a 1Ds FF? I think it shld be ok? Pardon me but I'd never seen 100mm thru a FF cam so I assume it shld be still within working limits?

But its nothing I'd seen... The official photographer with a 70-200 f4L on a 350D in a ballroom... The Bride was marching in and u guys will know how horrible the lighting will be that moment...

i guess this was the unit... the lens is already 2.6kg by itself, excluding the camera. isn't it overkill?

it's rather interesting to see how a photog runs around with a flash (550ex?) with the 1Ds + the Bigma/2.8. minimum should be 4kg... and it's really long too, if i'm not mistaken.
