E-500 full review at image resource is out. The reviewer rated this better than the E-300.
http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/EV500/E500A.HTM Not sure abt E-300, but E-500 has a crop factor of 2...does it mean the CCD is smaller? |

Actually Oly has no crop factor
they are using 4/3 tech CCD ... Which mean the lenses are designed to let light fit into the CCD sensor just nice. Correct me if i'm wrong |

There are pros and cons as to having smaller sensor vs bigger ones. I believe this has been discussed before in this very forum section. Just do a search to find out more. Last edited by ykkok; 22nd October 2005 at 10:35 PM. |
