wow, the pictures u took are impressive!! did u edit or crop them??
i own a A95 too, but cant figure out how to take macros... how did u do it? i tried using a macro lens and zoom all the way in (3X)... but i gotta get quite close to the insect. by that time, they always fly alway or run already ![]() also tried using macro mode and zooming without the lens, effect wasnt good ![]() how do u achieve the shallow DOP even when using f8? i thought the bigger the aperture the less focus the background? yes, i've seen that picture from his link, but i dunno wat lens issit (as in what it does)... sorry i dun have a DSLR so i dunno much about lens. if i was using the original canon macro lens (about 0.87X magification in macro mode, tele), would i be able to take shots similar to urs? or is the magifying power not high enough? really interested in shootin insects thanks for all these help u guys are givin!! |

you have my HIGHEST respect more so for the patience in getting these pics I have tried and know how bloody difficult to get insects pics btw, how do you focus with that setup? |
