Had a go at it ... pretty good. Nice balance ... AF is faster than the F828 that I used to have. tink I have to check my bank acct. again

$1699 MSRP (street price should be less) brings it head to head against many DSLRs.
With a limited zoom + expensive Sony accessories (e.g. Memory Stick, lens adaptors, etc) + non-interchangeable lens, I think it'll be a tough sell. We can probably expect the price to tumble shortly after the launch... .  MW |
