Default 3r, 4r & 8r

I am new in this country, today 2 weeks, and not used to formats like 3R, 4R and 8R. Can I find somewhere a list with all seizes (centimeters) of these formats? Then I can compare then with my old system, like 10x15, 13x18, etc. And where I can print them the best in Singapore, professionally and small business print services?
thanks

Hi funkie,

Welcome to Singapore. You should be able to find the sizes of the different 'R's in most of the colorlab, in inches. Just fo your quick info,

4R: 6"x4"
5R: 5"x7"
8R: 8"x10"
S8R: 8"x12"

There are many other different sizes to print from. I'll recommend you KT Imaging to do your prints. They'll friendly and will be more than happy to help you out. Below is their business address:

KT Digital Imaging Pte Ltd
Shop : 531 Upper Cross St #01-06 Hong Lim Complex, Singapore 050531
Contact: 65381422
Email: ktcolour@pacific.net.sg
OPERATING HOURS: Mon-Fri 9:00am-8:00pm, Sat 10:00am-7:00pm, Sun OFF

Jon

3R (3" x 5")
4R (4" x 6")
5R (5" x 7")
6R (6" x 8")
8R (8" x 10")
S8R (8" x 12")
10R (10" x 12")
S10R (10" x 15")

mind you, these are in inches...

Instead of S10R, some places calls 10" x 15" 15R.

There are now for 4/3 ratio 5" x 7.5" and 4.5" x 6". But I prefer the standard 4"x6".

My favourite medium size print is 8" x 10", more squarish.
