But it is less likely to happen to Singaporean from my experiences. Why, survival in this tight market and scare resources. What pay you best, you will try no matter how you dislike it, till you have to give up.
Actually what I like in photography apart from keeping the photos as memories, due to digital age, I keep on picking up new skills on photography.

Like HDR, time lapse etc, all needs some patience and also s/w to create some nice output. Not to forget you also need some weird ways to create a better photo. Anyway, I still enjoy photography for now and don't mind carrying the equipments to remoted areas. But age catching up, hopes to do more before cannot walk so much.
    Only Sony device mostly, haha!

I agree. It is like meditation or medicine for the soul or something.

It's all about putting food on the table, no matter what job u do.

As long as the job can do that for you, you will do that job.

Some ppl can depend on photography on fulltime, some cannot.

So you're telling us your current job is boring too?

That's what you've said, "Once it's a work, becomes boring."

Human minds work in a dark and sinister way.

I'm sure many professional photographers can tell you they see money in boredom, drudgery and insipidity because no one wants to do them.
