Default Reverse lens macros

I bought along my 2 camera today for a shoot. Canon 350D with Tamron 90mm and Fuji 602Z with minolta 50mm reversed. Thought I post the differences in magnification

All full frame. A little small fly
At 1:1

Full zoom (6X)

Miss your reverse macros.

Third and fourth shot is stunning. Great moment in the last shot.

Only the first one is taken with my 350D (1X magnification). The rest is taken with 602Z with reverse lens (5X magnification).

you might want to try mounting the reversed lens in front of your 90mm macro

Fantastic, as always!! I like the 3rd and also the last one too! If only the foreleg in #3 and feeler in #7 did not block part of their heads it would have been perfect. Well, that's just my perspective. These are not easy to take and have them come out so well in the first place, let alone expecting them to strike perfect poses for you.

BTW, can you recommend somewhere to buy these rings for attaching lenses in reverse? I have a prime 50mm and also a zoom which goes down to 18mm that I like to try to mount on a 180mm. Can't help but been thinking for some time of trying the 18mm zoom position with 180mm = 10x !!! Yeah, I know, light and DOF are sure to be goners, don't know what will happen with the f-no too, and gotta really get close up, will tripod mount, but I hope it will be fun. At least, the 50 - 180 should work decently.

I'm not too sure where you can get the macro coupler... But I know some plp super glue 2 step up rings together. Not recommended though
