Default 18-55 Kit Lense + C. Polarizer + UV Filter

Two questions:

1. Will I get vignetting, poor focusing or poor imaging quality with first the circular polarizer followed by the UV filter on the kit lens.

2. The color of the kit lens is originally quite soft, wonder if the polarizer can help saturate a bit?

Anyone has experience?

i don't know if this may sound correct but the 18-55 focusing ring turns when focusing. how do u use a cir pol on that?

Yeah, it'll be quite hard to use a circular polarizer due to the turning of the front of the lens when it focuses. And you can just save the money by adjusting the saturation in Photoshop. I don't recommend stacking those two filters together though, you might get some degradation in image quality, although I'm not sure whether vignetting will occur or not.

Very difficult to do manual focus, coz loose on both sides and some more the focus ring is so small.
Doing auto focus first, then turn C.Polarizer lor.

General rule is that you should avoid stacking filters as vignetting might occur.
I haven't tried stacking UV + CP filter on the kit lens, but it's a practice that I don't stack filters, since I did get vignetting when I tried it the first time.

CP help cut out stray light from reflective surfaces to achieve better contrast, but don't bank on it to make magic.

After you focus on the subject, do no release the shutter, turn the CP to the desire angle, snap, there u goes.
