herbie the beetle and jiminy cricket

the noise is due to high ISO, I like to use ambient light with fill flash as much as possible,
notice the nice soft shadows? The noise does not bother me, i feel that good light with noise is always better than bad light without noise. but it is your choice

Some people do, but not me, I shoot in S mode with shutter speed set at 1/160 or 1/200.
also the use of proper camera holding technique with breathing control and as much support as possible.

The side lighting for 1st shot is very nice. As melvynyeo stated, the noise level is quite bad ..

I will try. One of my problem is shaky hands.

get more sleep, eat more and exercise (training)

if that cannot work then, I guess you have to use a tripod/monopod
