Default Can 602z take good landscape shot?

As above. I have seen some shots coming from 602z that appear soft. Pls advise. OR is it due to poor technique.

It does seem to dislike fir trees. But take a look at the following and see for youself:

Tks wiz. Very nicee shots. Did u apply any post-processing like sharpening to it or are those shots straight fr the cam?

Thx Falcon, I may have done unsharp mask on some of them before resizing.
