Nice, nice, nice. What was the setting? Did you use 2nd. sync flash?

Thanks...I'm using 1st sync flash only...1/250 sec(Max sync speed) f2.8 70-200mm L ISO 1600 PSed- USM technique teach by phoakm.

What's the USM technique, don't mind sharing; is this the setting that you have mentioned?

John, I am a little lost here. If your shutter speed is 1/250 secs., then how did you manage to get the 'streaking' effect of the fireworks? As far as I know, one need to have long shutter speed to capture the 'streaking' effect of the fireworks. Or maybe the fireworks were near and they were bright and fast?

Please enlighten me. Thanks.

Yes the firework is just behind the bike and yes it is a fast & bright explosive rather than the slow type that we seen in the NDP.
