    Hi,
PC is very much better using AMD system. Its much cheaper to maintain cos parts are easily available and upgradable. Mac is usually for people who specialise in a field like journalist or video editing.

I think housekeeping for computer is important, and also the way you use and take care of it.
I am still waiting for a reason to buy a new mac, I am using a 2nd generation G4 (ATX)

because these fields are those fields in which you can't afford to waste any time, have disasters happen, or your arse is on the line.

for everything else, it happens to be excellent too.

Wait a while....see how well the new "Intel" Mac will be like. From what I heard it kicks Apple's Mac out of the sky in terms of power. There was a emulation Beta OSX X86 that was circulating around and some have tried it on their PC and found it really is fast. In any case it is already showed and proven for the past recent year that Mac's claim of having more powerful processing speed was not true...they have been lapping behind for sometime. One of the reason for the jump to Intel along with some other business politic that came into play with their present CPU manufacturers.

The rumour is the January Apple show will introduce the first Intel Mac...Think it will debut on a Notebok first.

And kindly, those who are quoting him, leave out the images.
The final version will be purely written for the Intel Platform but the beta or illegal copy floating around is a version that is not entirely workable on the present PC so some emulation "go-between" is used from what I heard. But the review was that even with teh emulation that would slow it down abit, it was still very fast. There was quite a few of this copies on sites I normally download stuff but a number of packets are missing so I did not dowload to try it yet.

Don't quote me on this!! heheh.... Just sharing what I am hearing on the grape vine of late. I am also waiting for it to come out myself next month just to see what the real world comments and figures will be like once some of the more reliable reviewer I normal pay close attention to have to say about it.

But if you are waiting fora PC Mac ...that will be alittle bit further down the road. Less then a year but when? I also not too sure...alot of rumours and half turths are flying around at this time.( same thing happen to before the launch the Ipod Nano and Video ) and some of this remarks from supposed "Mac watchers" including the one who was sued as he let the cat out of the bag with one of the iPod launches hehe...

I am taking everything in but with a pinch of salt as well...you should too.

Don't worry, bro ... I've been waiting for the "intel" mac for some time, just that I have no idea when it'll come ... U've given me an approximate time frame, so I've decided to wait a while before upgrading my current PB.

I'm not hoping for a PC Mac anytime soon. And I don't think I can wait that long, haha ... So, once the "intel" mac shows its face, I'll decide what to do

    Thanks again, dude!
