Default Canon 350D And 5 Million Dollar Crumpler Bag

For those who has bought the 350D and wondering which bag would fit the kit, here's a pic:

Body with the kit lens attached and an extra lens by the side.It fits all very comfortably and it's good for traveling.

Would this bag fit an EF 70-200mm f/4 at the side? Currently I'm lugging two bags around whenever I wish to have both the kit lens and the abovementioned zoom with me. How much does it cost?

fword, best is to bring your stuff down and try it yourself, or just go down to the shop and take a look at the bag. Always buy bag that's bigger incase your accessories expand.

Agreed!

I got a smaller bag at first then when accessories got more...not enuff space... end up getting the customary barge from infidel...

I'm thinking of getting the 6 Million Dollar bag. Can the 5 Million Dollar model sit in 2 spare lens?

I personally find the 6 millon dollar is too big for me.
If you place the body the other way, yes, you can fit 2 more lens beside it but it will be pretty tight.

I don't know the length of EF 70-200mm,but the height from the bottom to the cover is about 15cm.The selling price is $99.Borrowed a discount card from friend so I got it at $89.10.

Think it's based on individual personal preferences.
I've read about how to get a bigger bag than you think you need. But for me,I hate the idea of bringing so much stuff with me,making the bag too heavy to carry when I travel. The size/weight of this combination of the body and lens fits me perfectly.

i use a crumpler Next Venue. its a nice bag, its quite big. but i find it a little bulky. at most it can fit 350D with grip, tamron 28-75, flash, sigma 70-300, kitlens. tts the very maximum already.

i suggest u not get crumpler. somehow i think their photo bags are not very well designed. its good quality....one of the best ive seen, but the ergonomics, in my humble opinion, leave something to be desired.

someone once told me, and i agree with him, that the best bags are the most unglam. i suggest u try the lowepro Off trail 2 sling/belt pack. or the lowepro rezo 180 or 190. ALWAYS get something big enough for expansion, especially a GRIP.

Yes,I bought the crumpler bag because it looks good.I'm a hobbyist, not a professional. The reason I didn't choose lowepro is not because they are not good. It's just not my 'style' and I don't feel good carrying one.

I don't use the grip or flash so this small bag is able to carry all the stuff I need.

I believe The Next Venue is being replaced by the 6 million dollar model. As I said, that bag is too big and bulky.

I'm not trying to advertise Crumpler bag.I simply wants to help/show how things would fit if someone is interested or thinking of getting one.

Thanks

well said! I have been looking for a comfortable camera bag for a few weeks. Intially wanted to get the Lowepro backpacks series, they are very well built , however it's just too big for me. And I don't like it as I felt its abit bulky on my back.

I want something comfortable on my shoulder or back. Made up my mind on crumpler's.

Personally for my own use, the million dollar series design look too much like camera bags, one look and will know it's carrying cameras inside, so I rather buy cheaper lowepro.

If I were to go for crumpler camera sling bag, reason will be for the non camera bag look, and i will buy the messenger bag style series, like Company Embarassment, 15 Love or Budgie Smuggler.

this is only my own opinion.

I got mine at Paragon.Think you can consider a 6 Million Dollar.For a guy,it shouldn't be too big for you.The price is $132.

Good for you!
If you decided to get a 6 miilion dollar, please do post the pic of bag with your camera gear inside.

Think ClubSnap forum should have a sticky for people to contribute pictures of the camera bag with their camera gears inside. That way, newbies can have an idea what kind of bag they can get for their camera stuff.
