Default Who uses FILM SCANNER here?

can list out your model and make and price?

and do u find it good? eg: color accuracy, sharpness is on par with a >5mp digicam.. etc

I'm using one... Minolta Dimage Scan Elite II. Paid £469.00 (approx. S$1294.00 based on today's exchange rate of 2.758).
Best way to judge quality is to see... check out the gallery link below if interested. Note that most of these have been resized and compressed to apporx. 60~70kbytes.

wow.. i seen some really really nice pictures!! i realised you use alot of different type of film.. are some of then exotic and expensive?

some of the pics (especially london and edinburgh) are familiar cos i've been to there... hahaha!

I have a Canon FS 4000US which I bought it used @ S$1k last year. How does it compare with a 5 mp? How do I know when I don't even own a DC. I suppose scanning the negatives/positives is the easy part; the real challenge is to use Photoshop to bring out the original flavour of the image!

oh ... you mean you still have to use PS to do tweeking?

Then you need a better scanner.
