Hi need Advice from Canon Guys,

For 20D raw file, how to view thumbnail image of canon raw-CR2 in window XP! download software? I know nikon raw file can view in XP with thumbnail image, please help.

Also in Canon website, in download & support , saw this "Windows Me/Windows XP WIA Driver 5.4.1" Driver , can someone tell me what is this for? is it a must to install?

The only thumbnail view I found so far for Canon is the Digital Photo Professional software come with the CD. But built into Windows I don't now yet. As for the WIA driver, it makes your Camera works like a drive when connected. So it's easier to download the picture with just drag and drop.

Hi, you will need to download and install the Windows Raw image thumbnail viewer for XP from Microsoft site.

That RAW viewer from MS is quite crapy. I tried and uninstalled it. It screws up WinXP file system.

Well so far so good for me, not sure others having any issue. However, I have not tried to uninstall it.

Try use Picasa 2.1 its pretty good.
www.picasa.com or you can find it at www.google.com (bought over by google) and its free.
