    OT abit here, sorry. I wanna ask whether should i take RAW during my oversea trip with my prosumer digicam, 512mb memory card and a portable Hdd?
    I am not a pro photoshop user, only know how to use Level, Explosure, Sharpening and Noise Removal. Need some advice as i don't have any experience on RAW.

    Assuming you have an 8 mp cam, a 512mb card will only get you around 50 shots in RAW format. For a holiday, you're gonna have tons of shots. If you don't have much experience with RAW files, then using the largest JPEG setting will do just fine.

    Not all consumer cameras can shoot RAW too

    If you're not comfortable with RAWs, you can stick with JPEGs
