Canon TC-DC58 with S602

Can anyone tell me if this combination works? I know that the TC-DC58 works very well with the G2 (producing very good pictures), but is horrible with the Finepix 4900Z. I dunno if it will work well with Finepix S602. Can anyone with some experience on this comment?

someone here uses it... but I forgot who liao! The Canon tele should cost ~$140 or less.
