Default Pushing the limits of a crimson plumage

I normally go after these feathers whenever I feel bored. So far, this species of the sunbirds poses most headache when it comes to xposure. However with experience, it is possible to achieve good sharpness and crimson color integrity. Of course everything comes at a price- patience and sometimes plenty of sunburn/wet weather.

Taken in the afternoon under shade with indirect sunlight. Flash fired.

Note: color artifacts not removed. Cropped near true 1:1 pixel. So u can easily imagine how small they will appear in my viewfinder. Hope more folks will be interested in them.

Wow... excellent detail for near 100% crop. Butterflies and birds are out of my league right now I need longer lens
