    Default maintenance of dslr

Hi..may i know where i can go to service/send for maintenance for my dslr? Using an old but reliable (to me) nikon d40

Any help is greatly appreciated. If you know the price range it would be much better.

Suggest you keep it as backup body or sell it away. Get an updated body instead.

Current prices in B&S, and ?no takers

DSLR camera unlike cars, whereas car workshops offer basic, regular, premium servicing packages with price stated clearly.
The camera technicians will have to examine your camera, to check are all the parts working fine or need any replacement, so off hand they can't tell you anything without inspecting your camera first.
they might just tell you a price range but that really make no sense, since you won't know it will be at low, mid or high of the price range.

so just bring your trusty camera go to the Nikon Service Centre to let the technicians take a good look at it, the quotation is free and you have no obligation to take up repair service if you find it is beyond your budget.
