Hi guys, its been a while since I posted my wedding works. I have been busy travelling and doing up coffee table albums for couples. But, there's some time to spare this afternoon, so here's some pics taken from a wedding over the weekend to share.
Oh....I think I have also permenantly adopted what I have seen from Wan Shengs presentations for my "postcard" pics =). Thanks pal. Cheers Kelvin ============================ ![]() Its always a struggle shooting the bride when shes not fully made up =) Here, I chose to use the tea dress which was hanging against the room door as the focus pc while allowing us to "peep" and see the bride being made up in the background. Personally I felt that this was a slightly more interesting way of presenting this pic...=) ![]() This is a shot of the sis... I like taking shots like these which highlights the female form... nice cruvy and to an extent sensual... ![]() This is a more direct shot of the bride being madeup. I shoot only in moments when the bride is smiling or at least I try to keep to that. Somehow, the smile kinda take the edge and focus of the "being made up" part.... ![]() When it is a Blahnik, you take a pic of it. Last edited by iamasaint; 10th October 2005 at 06:11 PM. |

![]() Again, nice warm heartfelt joy is what I try to capture when the couples meet... ![]() The altar table looked good so I shot it...=) ![]() The colors were good here...and it would add to the building of a good album ![]() I like using DOF to isolate the subject. But it is impt that it is not random. Here the groom is my subject and I wanted to catch him in a nice smiley candid moment...so I waited for this shot. Personally I feel that amidst the random candid snap shot-like shoot, there must be a method. There must be a main subject(s) or at least it shd try and convey the message u aim to share or capture. ![]() The lighting of the candles vy the mothers...I chose this tighter shot cos I liked the shade of blue against the background...plus when shots are cropped this tightly they dun usually run the risk of looking like ordinary snapshot of the mothers lighting the candles... ![]() I planned for this shot the moment I looked down the aisle...the tapestry at the back in all its grandness would act as a nice jux to the little flower girl walking by herself down the aisle... ![]() ![]() Last edited by iamasaint; 10th October 2005 at 10:18 PM. |
