    Default My post JBP experience...

finally got my prints from the esplanade opening and JBP..
erm conclusion: for me, ISO 1600 useless... use a tripod...
the eagles with were fuzzy due to grain... but the reala shots show that the lens is not the problem...
sigh will be looking for a tripod...

    1. to test the film, first use mah.
    2. my handholding not very stable... 300mm quite jialat and the birds are usually in shade + I no FP flash...

i did managed to capture a big bird in flight on reala using manual focus in the outdoor lakes.. happy... saturated colours and sharp at 4R, with the background totally out of focus+motion blur..
I got many nice beak closeups like tomshen's BUT the grain really killed the DOF.. imagine 20% ccd noise... all the edges died...

I also shot the fireworks.. wah lau jialat man... need autolevels to correct the "haze" but no scanner... haiz...
