Default Panasonic LZ-2 vs Fujifilm E550

Hi All,

Just wanted an opinion on the above to see which is the better camera to get. this is for the other half to use.

last saw the fuji e550 or e500 clearing for 399 at audio house liang courts
the manual control gave it an edge over the lz2..imo
for the price i'll take the fujifilm

The E500 or E510 is going at $399. Me looking at the 6.3mp version E550 at $639 at Liang Court Audio House.
