Actually, the pixel shift test photos Diglloyd demonstrated in his website look over-sharpened and some degree of artifacts to me.

I think he did say in his article that he pulled off the sample JPG from the official site and sharpened to what he though was good.

It was his way of accessing the potential of the pixel shift resolution with what's available rather than a full test.

The new algo claims to be able to get rid of the movement artifacts from the 4 frames.
Of course, to be double safe, I think if one is going for this sort of high IQ, its best to also take one more frame of a non shifted image just in case, so that it can be blended in to remove artifacts if any.

I'm eager to see how all this works out if/when I get the camera.

Usually local Pentax price not too far off from US web retail price. Hope K-1 price will be able to match too

    Can't wait!

Convert from JPY is not a good indicator of local Pentax price..
Somehow I notice SG prices are more on reflection of US list price

I worry about how legacy manual focus glass is going to do on 36MP.

Another bonus test on the new flexible LCD. Do take note on the long silver white water tube mount in front of the camera which in mint condition!

Ps: the VN Distro have already got the demo since yesterday morning, how about our local Distro?

    Yes.

    White balance

The Pentax K-1's white balance system offers a wide range of options, including an interesting Multi Auto WB mode which aims to neutralize color casts from multiple different light sources in the same scene. As well as Automatic and Manual modes, the K-1 provides nine white balance presets (Daylight, Shade, Cloudy, Daylight Color Fluorescent, Daylight White Fluorescent, Cool White Fluorescent, Warm White Fluorescent, Tungsten, and Color Temperature Enhancement). This last option is used to retain and enhance the lighting tone - for example, to enhance a sunset.
