presuming that you like compact slim cameras, can tell you that the LX1 will be a tremedous upgrade from your IXUS 40.

If you are going to MSColor, get an equote first before you go down to bargain further. Also check if they have your desired color (Black or Silver).

Hahaha... there is no harm trying is there? Alot also depends on how you get on with the staff there and (more importantly) how much total sales you are chalking up

The location for AMK's MSColor is under heavy renovations right now, so it'll be a little difficult to navigate.

Assuming you are approaching from the MRT, go towards where the S11 foodcourt should be. Out infront of the S11 foodcourt, there is a "circle" of shops. If you are facing S11, it should be on the left side, and facing a comics shop in a nearby building.

Hi Zann Tiang,
Actually I really can't remember. I might have done some auto levels or auto colours in PS but that would have been about it. They were shot in JPEG not RAW though.

folks,

i'm pretty new in this forum, but i notice i havn't seen a grp buy excercise here so far. Something that's very common in the car forums...

since there's quite alot of interest in the LX1, does it make sense to do a grp buy so as to nego for a better price?

i can think of a concern bec the value we are talking abt is quite large and the organiser probably cant buy for the grp unless peple pay up first. but peple wld be concern too abt the organise run away with their money.

Maybe we can still form grp and go to shop together and pay by dutch. but we nego with the shop for best price first b4 go down.

what do u guys think? i for one am quite interested to buy this cam.

It'd prob sell for 999@ sitex with some goodies thrown in. Anyway, i'd likely buy mine just after sitex, just in case sitex has an offer too good to resist.

in that case better wait. during sitex, i think if u go to AP, they'll prob give promo items in addition to shop price...
